Maid Visa for UAE

It is very simple and easy to hire a maid of different nationality in Dubai. There are few terms and documentations that must be done before you sponsor a maid or nanny for their Visa in Dubai.

The Minimum salary of the sponsor must be between AES 7000 to AED 9000 per month. Bachelors cannot sponsor a maid in Dubai. Single mothers or women who don’t have a husband in the UAE can sponsor maid in UAE. The maid must be of certain nationalities only (India, Indonesia, Philippines, Ethiopia, Nepal and Sri-Lanka). The process of sponsoring maids of other nationalities is not transparent. Refundable deposit: The embassies of maid’s home country may require refundable security deposit of AED 3000 to AED 10,000.

Maid requires an entry permit or employment visa to get an entry in UAE. Then application for residence visa can be processed. The DNRD then issues a residence visa, labor card and labor contract for maid.

• Visa holder should enter UAE within 60 days from the date of issue and should complete Emirates ID, Medical and Visa Stamping within 60 days.
• If the visa holder couldn’t enter UAE within 60 days from the date of the visa issue, visa can be renewed against payment of few charges. Visa can be renewed only twice.
